PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of there being no function to physically prevent the theft of a USB-connected device connected to a USB port of a personal computer or the like, although there is the function of protecting data in terms of software, and to physically lock a USB-connected device connected to a USB port, thereby preventing its theft. SOLUTION: This theft prevention function allows locking in to a USB port of a personal computer or the like by utilizing a hole for a USB plug (series-A, series mini-B-type) defined by the USB standard.
