PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate stress generated in a packaging structure when the packaging structure is chucked and to chuck the packaging structure with simple mechanism. SOLUTION: The packaging structure housing an electrooptical device having an image display region and emitting display light from the image display region and capable of being held by magnetic force in the state that the electrooptical device housed is provided with a case wherein a window corresponding to the image display region is regulated and which surrounds the electrooptical device from the peripheral edge thereof and at least one part thereof on the surface opposite to the side opposed to the electrooptical device is formed from a magnetic material and a packaging means which is provided at the case and used for attaching the packaging structure to the body to be packaged.
