PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a member with a projected part, capable of easily and surely manufacturing the member with the projected part of a desired shape, to provide the member with the projected part, to provide a transmission type screen equipped with the member with the projected part, and to provide a rear type projector. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the member with the projected part, a member having a recessed part of which the shape is nearly elliptical in plane-view is used as the member with the recessed part 6, and the method has a resin material applying process of applying a fluid resin material on the face side provided with the recessed part 61 of the member with the recessed part 6, a solidification process of solidifying the resin material as a solidified object, and a peeling process of peeling the solidified object off the member with the recessed part 6, wherein the direction of peeling the solidified object from the member with the recessed part 6 is nearly the same as the minor axis direction of the recessed part 61.
