PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroelectric generator capable of stably generating electric power even when stream is heavy and fluctuation of a water level is large and of effectively performing electric power generation. SOLUTION: Two water turbines 11, 12 are provided in upstream and downstream sides of flowing water, respectively, and are connected with one of a power generator in a power generator chamber 21. Main bodies of the respective water turbines 11, 12 have a hollow drum shape of which main shaft is approximately vertical to the water flow.
