PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an engine capable of realizing high output while suppressing abnormal combustion. SOLUTION: In this controller of the engine for controlling the hydrogen engine in which hydrogen is directly supplied into a combustion chamber and burned, in a high rotational speed range where the speed of the hydrogen engine exceeds a prescribed rotational speed, the controller controls the engine to further supply remaining hydrogen in a compression stroke from a direct injection injector after a part of the hydrogen is supplied in a suction stroke by using a premixed type injector.
