PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PLD capable of improving the yield of products by avoiding a defective place in response to the defective place discovered after the assembly of the PLD, a related control program or the like. SOLUTION: The programmable logical device has a plurality of logical blocks containing programmable logical circuits, and storage sections previously storing circuit information specifying paths connecting a plurality of the logical blocks by information discriminating resources contained in the paths and defective-place information specifying the troubled resources. The programmable logical device further has replacement control units referring to the defective-place information, deciding whether or not the troubled resources are comprised in the specified paths by the circuit information, obtaining substitutional paths when the troubled resources are comprised, and rewriting the circuit information by informations discriminating the resources contained in the substitutional paths and wiring resource sections reading the circuit information stored in the storage sections and forming the specified logical circuits on the basis of the read circuit information.
