<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of accurately correcting a change in brightness caused by the characteristic deterioration of light emitting elements, with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provided with one or a plurality of light emitting elements 11, a drive means 12 for constant-current driving the light emitting elements 11, a light emitting state calculating means 13 for measuring the terminal voltage when driving the light emitting elements 11 at a predetermined current by the drive means 12 to calculate the light emitting state of the light emitting elements 11 based on the difference between the measured terminal voltage and a pre-recorded terminal voltage, and a drive correction means 14 for correcting the drive output of the light emitting elements 11 corresponding to the light emitting state thus calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
