摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a technology by which in an EV running-mode the engine can be reliably started up by using the motor, and in engine start-up time, the motor torque can be adequately exerted to the running drive. <P>SOLUTION: In the EV running mode, the 1st clutch is released, and the driving power of the motor is transmitted to driving wheels. When in the EV running mode, an input shaft is connected by the transmission to an output shaft, the driving force obtained by the output shaft is set greatest, and the transmission gear ratio of the transmission is set to a favorable gear-ratio at which the number of rotations of the input shaft goes into a number of rotation higher than the lowest number of rotations at which engine start-up is possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
