<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing a corrosion-proof layer of a power cable which can suppress the deterioration of the insulating performance of the power cable by correcting the positional deviation of the power cable to a waved metal sheath generated in the corrosion-proof layer of the power cable, returning the corrosion-proof layer to the original normal position, and preventing an external injury to the corrosion-proof layer and water running between the waved metal sheath with and the corrosion-proof layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the power cable having the waved sheath metal and the corrosion-proof layer 3, a defective part 18 in which positional deviation is generated to the waved metal sheath of the corrosion-proof layer 3 is heated, tension in the reverse direction to the positional deviation direction of the corrosion-proof layer 3 is made to act on a normal part 19 in which the positional deviation is not generated to the waved metal sheath of the corrosion proof-layer 3 into the defective part 18, the positional deviation of the corrosion proof-layer 3 in the defective part 18 is corrected, and the corrosion proof-layer 3 is returned to an original normal position, and thereby the corrosion proof-layer 3 is repaired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
