PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling effect by eliminating bend of heat exchanger tubes and increasing an area receiving wind of a fan when the fan is added to a side of cooling fins. SOLUTION: The heat exchange type cooler has the plurality of cooling fins 53, an upper side plate 531 provided in parallel at an outside of the cooling fins 53, a lower side plate 532 provided in parallel at another outside of the cooling fins 53, the plurality of heat exchanger tubes 54 inserted through the cooling fins 53, the upper side plate 531 and the lower side plate 532, an upper cover 51 for covering and sealing the upper side plate 531 and forming an upper storing chamber between the upper side plate 531 and itself, a lower cover 52 for covering and sealing the lower side plate 532 and forming a lower storing chamber between the lower side plate 532 and itself. The upper storing chamber has a plurality of upper separating plates 56 and is separated as a plurality of sealed upper part small storing chambers. The lower storing chamber has a plurality of lower separating plates 57 and is separated as a plurality of sealed lower part small storing chambers. With the above structure, a problem of bending angle of the heat exchanger tubes is improved and cooling effect can be enhanced by a method in which the heat exchanger tubes are set in array in the upper part small storing chambers and the lower part small storing chambers.
