PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a metallic material to be bent from being scratched or surface separated in a die for disk cartridges for forming a half body of the shell of a disk cartridge and/or a rotary shutter. SOLUTION: In the die 3 for the cartridges which is provided with a punch die 90 for bending the metallic material 80 by pressing and a dieing die 100 with which the bent shape of the metallic material 80 is specified, the dieing die 100 is provided with a shape specifying part 120 having a placing surface 120a on which the metallic material 80 is placed and a shape specifying surface 120b by which the bending shape of the metallic material 80 is specified, a shape specifying part supporting part 130 for supporting the shape stipulating part 120 and a punch die receiving space part 140 which is formed in the adjacent relation to the shape stipulating part supporting part 130 and into which a part of the punch die 90 is entered. The shape specifying surface 120b of the shape specifying part 120 is projected from the end face 130a on the side of the punch die receiving space part 140 of the shape specifying part supporting part 130.
