PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a thong of a conventional Japanese thong sandal wherein a wearer has to prepare a plurality of thong sandals with thongs in different colors and patterns to select a thong sandal matching the clothes the wearer wears; and to provide a thong ornament allowing anyone to easily attach/detach the ornament to/from the conventional Japanese thong sandal. SOLUTION: The thong ornament matching the clothes is used in the conventional Japanese thong sandal to cover the upper surface of the thong with the thong ornament. The thong ornament can be easily attached to the front/rear of the thong. The front of the thong ornament is fastened with a button, and the rear is fixed by winding a band fixed to both ends of the thong ornament toward the inside of the thong and winding and superimposing a flat hook and loop fastener on the band.
