PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper capable of being kept clean without staining the skin of a wearer even if a large quantity of excrement is excreted at once, and reducing the load of disposing of the excrement when the diaper is discarded. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 comprises a liquid-permeable top sheet, an impermeable back sheet, and an absorber disposed between the sheet. The disposable diaper 1 consists of a front bodice, a back bodice, and a crotch portion located between the bodices. An opening part 8 through which the excrement can pass is formed on the top sheet 2 at least in a part of the crotch portion where the anus of the wearer is located, and the absorber 4 is not present in the part. In addition, an opening part through which the excrement can pass is also formed on the back sheet 3.
