PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide X-ray apparatus capable of reducing the exposure dose of a subject and obtaining a high quality image even if a moving subject is imaged. SOLUTION: The X-ray apparatus comprises an X-ray source 26 for irradiating a patient K with X rays, an X-ray detector 28 for detecting X rays from the X-ray source 26, a C arm 24 for supporting the X-ray source 26 and the X-ray detector 28 to face each other with the patient K in-between, a main rotating system driving mechanism for rotating the C arm 24 around a prescribed rotation axis around the patient, a guide part 25 provided at the C arm 24 for reciprocating the X-ray source 26 around the rotation axis P, and a control part 30 for collecting and processing pixel data detected by the X-ray detector 28.
