PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle supporting rack and method suited for supporting bottles when draining (a liquid drip), drying and storing the bottles after washing the bottles or discharging liquid contents and stably supporting even bottles with short neck parts in particular. SOLUTION: This supporting rack is provided with; a support member 2 whose opening is molded larger than the trunk diameter of the bottle, horizontally formed in a fixed support rod material 1; and support members 3 and 4 whose openings are molded smaller than the trunk diameter part of the bottle and larger than the neck diameter part including a bottle mouth part, formed diagonally downward and approximately perpendicularly downward respectively. This bottle supporting method is so formed that the trunk diameter part of the bottle is supported by the support member 2 having the opening molded larger than the trunk diameter of the bottle and being provided horizontally, and the neck diameter of the bottle is supported by the support member 3 having the opening molded smaller than the trunk diameter part of the bottle and larger than the neck diameter part including the bottle mouth, or the support member 4 provided approximately perpendicularly downward.
