PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a continuous footing, which is connected in a T-shape or cross shape and mainly composed of plain concrete, against differential settlement and an earthquake. SOLUTION: In this footing reinforcing structure 1, an aramid fiber sheet 4a is bonded to an outdoor-side lateral surface 3a, with no connection from an orthogonal direction, among respective side surfaces of the continuous footing 2; and two aramid fiber sheets 4a and 4b as fiber sheets are respectively bonded to indoor-side lateral surfaces 3b and 3b with a connection from the orthogonal direction, on both the sides of an orthogonal footing section 5, and joined to each other via a fiber rope 7 which is arranged in the state of being passed through an insertion hole 6 formed in the footing section 5.
