PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing asphalt plied timber, which enable the asphalt plied timber with mixed recycled plied timber to be also manufactured by making equipment costs as low as possible, in a factory where only an asphalt plant is installed. SOLUTION: Recycled plied timber accepting equipment 21 for accepting the recycled plied timber transported from a recycle plant 1 is installed in such a manner as to be annexed to the asphalt plant 20. The recycled plied timber is temporarily stored in a storage silo 40 of the equipment 2. When the recycled plied timber is needed, a predetermined amount of recycled plied timber is measured by a measuring tank 41 below the storage silo 40 and charged into a mixer 42 for the recycled plied timber, and an additive measured by a measuring tank 46 is added and mixed. The recycled plied timber is transferred to a mixer 35, which is mounted on a plant body 23 of the asphalt plant 20, via a belt conveyor 48 and mixed into new aggregate at a predetermined rate, and mixed along with the addition of asphalt, so that the prescribed asphalt plied timber can be manufactured.
