<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery with charge/discharge cycle characteristics improved through prevention of break due to degradation of electrodes, in case an alloy material is used as an anode active material. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode 21 and a anode 22 of a belt shape are wound around through a separator. A cathode collector 21A has an elongation percentage up to break in a wound-around direction of 3% or more after charging of once or more times. The cathode 21 is prevented from degradation or break during charge/discharge cycles due to repetition of expansion and contraction of the anode active material, resulting in improvement of the cycle characteristics. More concretely, the cathode collector 21A is structured of at least one kind out of a group consisting of JIS aluminum alloys 1085, 1070, 1050, 1N30, 1100, 3003, 3004, 8021 and 8079, and that, is preferred to be of quality symbol O. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
