<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reproduce an exhaust gas treatment means by executing a sufficient amount of post injection without diluting engine oil on the inner wall surface of a cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: In an exhaust emission control device, an accumulator fuel injection device includes an exhaust gas treatment means 16 for occluding NOx contained in exhaust gas of an engine 11 in an exhaust passage 14 of the engine 11. A fuel adding means 17 for supplying fuel to the exhaust gas treatment means 16 by adding fuel to the exhaust gas in the exhaust passage 14 executes main injection and post injection to a cylinder 22 of the engine 11. In this case, an exhaust valve of the engine 11 is closed from an intermediate stage to a latter stage in an exhaust stroke by a valve system for exhaust. The post injection is carried out in the latter stage of the exhaust valve closing time. The valve system for exhaust opens the exhaust valve at the timing when the post-injected fuel is prevented from being ignited in the cylinder 22 from the late stage in the exhaust stroke to the initial stage in the suction stroke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
