摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific absorption rate measurement system capable of precisely and quickly measuring the SAR distribution. <P>SOLUTION: The specific absorption rate measuring system for evaluate the absorption of the radio-wave energy uses a body-equivalent phantom unit. The phantom unit is the body-equivalent phantom for absorbing the radio-wave which is constituted with a plurality of electro-optical crystals, the dielectric constant of which are nearly equal to that of the body-equivalent phantom and a plurality of optical fibers for connecting each of electro-optical crystal to outside are laid in the body-equivalent phantom. The specific absorption rate measurement system for evaluating the absorption of the radio-wave energy using the body-equivalent phantom is constituted of: the light source for emitting the light; the polarization adjuster for adjusting the polarization state of the emitted light; the light path switch for making the light emitted from the polarization light adjuster incident on each electro-optical crystal successively; and the specific absorption measurement unit for measuring the specific absorption rate by detecting the light reflected from the electro-optical crystals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
