PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-reciprocal circuit element in which not only spread of solder is prevented at the time of packaging but also its size is reduced to enhance a space efficiency, and also to provide a communication apparatus with the element. SOLUTION: The non-reciprocal circuit element is provided with a ferrite, a central electrode substrate 30, a permanent magnet 20, a capacitor and a resistor 55 between a lower yoke 15 and an upper yoke 10. Ground terminals 63 and 64 are formed integrally to project outward from the side of the lower yoke 15 where the sidewall is not formed. The ground terminals 63 and 64 are provided with slits on the opposite sides and protrusions 63a and 64a bending in the standing direction from the mounting surface 100.
