PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel in which miniaturization is achieved by devising arrangement of apparatuses. SOLUTION: Stepping motors 14 and 25 for driving a second lens barrel 6 and a fourth lens barrel 8 respectively are disposed such that their subject sides are opposite to an imager 29. The stepping motor 14 is disposed on the inside diameter side of a lens. A feed screw 17 is rotated via gears 14a and 17a. Thus, a second lens barrel 6 is driven. In addition, the stepping motor 25 is disposed on the inside diameter side of the lens. A feed screw 30 is rotated via a gear 25a. Thus, the fourth lens barrel 8 is driven.
