CORDLESS TELEPHONE SET AND METHOD FOR MAIL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN COMMUNICATION DEVICES THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set through which an incoming of electronic mail to an electronic mail processor can be known by only carrying a portable hand set without limiting the place where the electronic mail processor capable of receiving and storing electronic mail through a network is installed. SOLUTION: A slave unit 5 of the cordless telephone set comprising a main phone 4 connected to a telephone line and a plurality of slave units, e.g. a portable hand set 5a communicating with a PC 3 capable of receiving electronic mail through the Internet informs a portable hand set 5b, which is not connected to the PC 3, of reception of electronic mail reported by the PC 3. The portable hand set 5b receiving the notice of the incoming gives the notice of the incoming and sends notice of a transmission request which indicates a request to send the electronic mail to the portable hand set 5a.
