PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method at high yield for a semiconductor laser device which enables the manufacture of a semiconductor device showing no fluctuation in drive currents. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a first aging process S1, a first inspection process S2, a mounting process S3, a second aging process S4, and a second inspection process S5. In the aging process S1 prior to the mounting process S3, high-temperature direct currents are made to pass through a semiconductor laser chip.
