PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new tyrosine glycoside useful in many fields including a medicine, an agrochemical and a cosmetic material and to provide a method for producing the same and a use thereof. SOLUTION: The tyrosine glycoside is produced by reacting a tyrosine derivative with pentaacetyl glucose in the presence of an acid catalyst. Then the new tyrosine derivative is obtained by deprotecting the part of a saccharide residue and, if necessary, converting a carboxylic acid ester part to a carboxylic acid.
