PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear compressor capable of miniaturizing the compressor by reducing size of a stator cover and simplifying its structure by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This linear compressor is provided with a shell 50, a linear motor 61 provided inside the shell 50, a cylinder frame 63 mounted in front of the linear motor 61, the stator cover 64 mounted behind the linear motor 61, a piston 69 arranged inside a cylinder 62 provided in the cylinder frame 63 so as to advance and retract freely, and a tightening means for fixing the cylinder frame 63 and the stator cover 64.
