PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional Japanese thong sandal wherein the thong sandal easily comes off because of active motions of a wearer though a foot is fixed by a thong and wherein the wearer has to prepare a plurality of thong sandals with thongs in different colors or patterns to select a thong sandal matching the clothes the wearer wears; and to provide a thong ornament allowing anyone to firmly attach the thong ornament to the conventional Japanese thong sandal and easily change the ornament. SOLUTION: The thong ornament is wound around the thong of the conventional Japanese thong sandal, and is firmly fixed to the heel with a flat hook and loop fastener in the rear. The thong ornament can be easily attached/detached. The thong ornament has a wider surface than the upper surface of the conventional thong, so that the color and pattern matching the clothes can be expressed without changing the thong sandal itself.
