PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for measuring an electrolyte, which comprises (a) an apoenzyme, (b) a competition inhibitor, and (c) a substrate and improves the accuracy and precision of the measurement, while avoiding the affection of a protein such as serum albumin. SOLUTION: This composition for measuring the electrolyte, comprising (a) the apoenzyme, (b) the competition inhibitor, and (c) the substrate, is characterized by containing a protein adsorption-preventing agent.
