<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous motor controller in which vibration or noise being generated due to step-out state and damage on an apparatus being coupled with a synchronous motor can be prevented by detecting step-out state of the synchronous motor equipped with no rotation angle sensor even during current control. <P>SOLUTION: The synchronous motor controller is equipped with a step-out judging section and connected with a synchronous motor equipped with no rotation angle sensor. The step-out judging section judges that the synchronous motor is stepping out when a voltage amplitude command is not higher than a step-out judgment voltage threshold and stops conduction of the synchronous motor. Consequently, vibration or noise and damage to an apparatus being coupled with the synchronous motor can be prevented by detecting step-out state of the synchronous motor surely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
