PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate switching of a recording mode such as switching from a 2ch stereo recording mode to a 4ch surround recording mode. SOLUTION: The recording mode is switched according to the turning direction of a microphone 12 and audio signals obtained by a microphone 11 and a microphone 12 are recorded in a recording means in the switched recording mode.
