PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentric rocking type reduction gear short in the axial direction which allows reduction in the number of friction plates of each braking means by reducing braking load of each brake means since a brake means is provided to at least two of a plurality of crank mechanism members. SOLUTION: An eccentric rocking type reduction gear is equipped with an internal gear wheel body 21 having an internal gear 21a, an external gear wheel body 23 which has an external gear meshed with the internal gear of the external gear wheel body and eccentrically rocks, a plurality of crank mechanism members 27 engaged with the external gear wheel, and supporting members 25, 31 for freely rotatably supporting a plurality of crank mechanism members, wherein rotation is output from the internal gear wheel body or the supporting members.
