PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multipurpose shoes and sandals fitting the feet and toes. SOLUTION: The multipurpose shoes are each composed of a front upper, a rear upper, an instep, a sole, and a plurality of fasteners. The front upper covers the toe part of the foot, the rear upper is partially connected to the front upper and includes an opening into which the foot is inserted. The instep is provided at substantially the center part of the front upper and the width thereof is adjusted. The adjustment of the width is carried out, for example, by one or more of hook and loop fastener or the like. The sole is covered with the front upper, the instep, and the rear upper.
