<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain size reduction of a power convertor, and to realize energy saving. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes two converters 54, 56 and two inverters 55, 57, wherein the converters respective convert ac source voltages of the identical ac power source 100 into dc voltages of different ground levels, and the inverters convert the dc voltages at output sides of each converter 54, 56 into ac voltages, and apply the voltages to respective loads 16A, 20A. The power converter further includes an inverter control section 61 which controls one inverter 55, based on the voltage value of the dc voltage V1 at the output side of one converter 54, and includes a dc voltage detector 66 which detects the voltage value of the dc voltage of the other converter 56. The inverter control section 61 obtains the voltage value of the dc voltage V1 of one converter 54, based on the voltage value V2d of the dc voltage V2 of the other converter 56, which is detected by the dc voltage detector 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
