<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measuring liquid properties which can use bead abrasives to appropriately remove attached substances on the surface of an electrode section, while preventing the beaded abrasives from flowing to the outside of the system. <P>SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a test vessel 51, the electrode section 52 for measuring the properties of the fluid under test, and bead abrasives 59 for performing cleaning process of the electrode section surface 52a. The test vessel 51 comprises a main channel of the fluid under test from its inflow section 53 to its outflow section 54, and a circulation channel 55 of both the fluid under test and the bead abrasives 59, which branches from the main channel and connects to the main channel, with its downstream located at a position higher than that of its branching section. The design of the electrode section 52 is characterized such that its surface 52a appears on the inner periphery of the circulation channel 55, while in the circulation channel 55, a recessed area for directing the movement of the bead abrasives 59 towards the side of the electrode section surface 52a is formed on a side opposite to the electrode section surface 52a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
