<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sugar-coated food such as sugar-coated confectionery excellent in matching of stimulation by shape with stimulation by feeling of cold. <P>SOLUTION: The sugar-coated food is obtained by coating the periphery of a tabletted product, a capsule, a pill, a candy, gum or the like as a central layer with sugar. The sugar-coated food is made excellent in matching of stimulation by a shape having projections with stimulation by feeling of cold by forming a plurality of projections on the surface and a sugar-coated layer with a heat of dissolution (endotherm) of 80J/g to water. Furthermore, the food is made extremely excellent in taste and feeling of cold by the sugar-coated layer having xylitol as the main ingredient, and becomes excellent not only in the matching of stimulation but also productivity by forming the sugar-coated layer having sugar alcohol as the main ingredient obtained by combining sorbitol with at least one of erythritol or mannitol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
