<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a noble metal-containing heat-resistant oxide which is excellent in durability in a high temperature atmosphere. <P>SOLUTION: A primary heat-treatment composition (crystal lattice) such as a perovskite-type multiple oxide or a fluorite-type multiple oxide is formed by subjecting a primary precursor composition, obtained by blending coordination element raw materials containing coordination elements, to primary heat treatment. Then, a noble metal element raw material containing a noble metal element such as Pt, Rh or Pd is blended into the primary heat-treatment composition to obtain a secondary precursor composition. Further, the obtained secondary precursor composition is subjected to secondary heat treatment (firing) at a temperature higher than the primary heat treatment temperature and not lower than 600°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
