<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, lightweight and highly reliable dehumidifier low in power consumption, sound and vibration and capable of being operated at variable speeds. <P>SOLUTION: This dehumidifier has a condenser and an evaporator constituting a refrigeration cycle accommodated in a same dehumidifier body, and has, in the dehumidifier body, a converter circuit for converting an alternate current voltage to a direct current voltage, an inverter circuit for converting the direct current voltage converted by the converter circuit to an alternate current voltage of an arbitrary voltage, frequency and phase, a control circuit for controlling the voltage, frequency and phase produced by the inverter circuit and a compressor having a DC brushless motor outputted by the inverter circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
