<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user of a mobile navigation device to effectively utilize advertisement information from circumferential facility in the navigation system composed of the vehicle-mounted navigation device and the mobile navigation device of the user. <P>SOLUTION: When the user's riding in a vehicle V is detected by the riding detection part 19 (step SA8), the advertisement information is read out from the advertisement memory 37 of the mobile navigation device 2, and stored in the advertisement memory 17 of the in-vehicle navigation device 1. At this point, the contents of the advertisement memory 37 is deleted (step SA10).
