SD MEMORY CARD FOR EXTENSION OF FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend functions of an SD memory card by loading wired and wireless interface functions.

SOLUTION: In the SD memory card constituted of: a flash memory installed in a host device and storing data generated by the host device and a controller controlling an access interface to the flash memory, the SD memory card for extension of function is constituted of: an RF circuit part performing functions of a contactless IC card and a contactless IC card reader through a wireless interface control of the controller; an antenna part connected to the RF circuit part to perform a function of a transmission and reception antenna; and a contact IC card adapter performing the function of the contact IC card reader through a wired interface control of the controller.
