PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool changer, grasping, carrying and changing a tool from a separate tool magazine, integrally constructed, having high operational accuracy, and made compact. SOLUTION: This tool changer is used for changing tools between a tool spindle 3 of a machine tool and a tool magazine 4A. The tool changer includes: a tool changing unit 9 having a revolving shaft, one end of which is fitted with a replacing arm 2 and the other end being fitted with a motor 7 for revolving drive; and a feed screw 5, one end of which is fitted with a driving motor 6 to cause the feeding operation of the tool replacer unit 9, and insert and remove the tool by the operation.
