<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate power with a generator by combination of gear shifting control of an automatic transmission and control of control current of a generator. <P>SOLUTION: Power generation quantity necessary for charging a buttery to an appropriate charge condition (hereafter demand power generation quantity) is calculated based on the charge condition of the buttery and control current of the generator and gear ratio of the automatic transmission are controlled based on the demand power generation quantity and a deceleration condition at a time of deceleration operation (at a time of deceleration regeneration power generation). Consequently, power generation quantity (power generation current) of a generator can be increased by intentionally increasing engine rotation speed (rotation speed of the generator) by control of gear ratio of the automatic transmission while controlling control current of the generator not to power generating torque of the generator excessive at the time deceleration operation, and the charge condition of the buttery can be quickly recovered to the appropriate charge condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
