PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel enhancing productivity of products and display quality with reduced flow resistance, improving light-emitting efficiency, and preventing deterioration of phosphor, when an impure gas is evacuated and when discharge gas is filled. SOLUTION: The display panel comprises an upper side substrate; a lower-side substrate disposed, in parallel with the upper-side substrate; upper-side barrier ribs disposed between the upper and lower substrates to restrict a plurality of discharge cells together with the upper substrate; discharge electrodes discharging in the discharge cells; lower side barrier ribs, formed along with rows of the discharge cells between the upper side barrier ribs to partition a plurality of flow passages so as to make the discharge cells communicate with each other; phosphors applied to the same level as that of the lower side barrier ribs; and discharge gasses filled in the discharge cells.
