PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera name plate for widening its application by adding various functions to the name plate. SOLUTION: The name plate 10 has such a memory function that information such as electronic information can be recorded in the name plate, wherein camera user's original information such as his or her address, birth date, blood type, telephone number, contact address, mail address, face photograph image, camera function, operation settings in which the function is customized is recorded. By using a RAM as its memory function, photographing information such as a photographing place, a photographing time, a photographer, and a subject can be recorded from the camera 12 onto the RAM of the name plate 10. Such information is read in a DPE shop and printed as character information on the back of a print photograph produced by development or is recorded on the back of an index print photograph in which a plurality of frame images are printed in one print photograph. When a user requests a DPE shop to print such a name plate 10 as a medium, the user can conveniently eliminate the need for writing his or her address, telephone number, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
