PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piece for a ball screw capable of securing desired strength of a flange portion and properly keeping dimensional stability. SOLUTION: This piece comprises an elliptic main body 2 mounted concentrically to a center shaft c, an elliptic flange 3 connected with the main body 1 and concentric to the central shaft c, and a return groove formed in the main body 2 for circulating balls of the ball screw.
