PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder vessel detection device reducing the number of elements than conventional ones. SOLUTION: (1) The cup holder vessel detection device 10 is used for a cup holder provided with a plurality of cup storage parts 22 and has a light emission element 11; a plurality of light-receiving elements 12; and a reflection member 13 for dividing a light from the light emission element 11 to a plurality of parts and reflecting them toward the light-receiving elements 2. (2) The cup holder vessel detection device 10 is used for the cup holder provided with a plurality of cup storage parts 22 and has the plurality of light emission elements 11; a light-receiving element 12; and a reflection member 13 for reflecting the light from the plurality of light emission elements 11 toward the light-receiving element 12. (3) A light-leading member 23 is provided over the whole periphery of the cup storage part 22 and is positioned on a passage of the light from the light emission elements 11.
