PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket for printing which enables easy detection of a fault such as a flaw of the blanket at early stages. SOLUTION: The blanket for printing uses a silicone rubber for a surface layer at least. The silicone rubber 1 is colored or the silicone rubber 11 is colorless and transparent, or colorless and semitransparent, and a colored layer 4 or an optical reflection layer 4' is provided below the silicone rubber.
