Quinoline derivs. of general formula (Ia) and their acid addn. salts. R'=H, 1-5C alkyl, halogen, OH, OMe, SH, NH2, SO3H, MeSO2NH R2=H, Me, Et A =(1-10C) alkylene, st. or branched chain. X = H, Ph, p-Cl/MeO-phenyl, PhO, p-Cl/MeO-phenoxy, pyrrolidino, morpholino, N-Me-piperazino, beta-indolyl, 3,4-CH2O2-phenyl, 3-7C cycloalkyl. (B) The corresp. 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro cmpds. (Ib) and their acid addition salts. As long-acting bronchodilators, active orally and with minimal side-effects. Dose: 0.001-0.014 mg./kg./day. 1-(5-(8-hydroxyquinolyl))-2-i-Pr/Et/t-Bu/ (beta-PhO-i-Pr)/cyclopentyl/(beta-p-MeO-phenylethyl)-amino-ethanol. |
