<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk with which an optical disk configurated of a single plate can be loaded to an ordinary disk device without an adapter, and problems in molding and unnecessary orientation hardly occur at the time of injection molding of a disk substrate, and a method for manufacturing the optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk 1 constituting a disk shape having a circular hole 11 at its center and having a clamping region 12 to be clamped to the disk device on an inner peripheral side is constituted by; providing at least three points along the disk circumferential direction of the clamping region 12, respectively with projecting parts 21, 21, 21 integrally formed with the substrate of the optical disk in a way as to form an elliptic shape longer in the radial direction than the circumferential direction of the disk and to form the shape with the one surface side of the optical protruded and the other surface recessed to make the thickness nearly the same as that in other areas; and filling a resin R in the recessed portions on the other surface sides of these projection parts 21, 21, 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
