<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display device having superior color mixing properties without causing a problem such as signal delay. <P>SOLUTION: The flat panel display device includes a substrate, signal lines arranged on the substrate, pixel driving circuits each positioned in pixel driving circuit areas defined by the intersections of the signal lines, and pixel electrodes connected to the pixel driving circuits, respectively, and superposed on at least one of the signal lines. The pixel driving circuit areas which correspond to the same color among from the pixel driving circuit areas are positioned so as to be adjacent to each other with respect to the column direction. The pixel electrodes, which include the arrangement different from that of the pixel driving circuit areas, are adjacent to the pixel electrodes corresponding to the different colors with respect to the row direction and the column direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
