MEDICAL DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device formed by firmly joining a hard tubular member made of polypropylene with a soft material such as a polybutadiene tube and to provide a manufacturing method of the same.

SOLUTION: This medical device is formed by joining a second tubular member formed of a polybutadiene soft material to a connector provided at the end of a first tubular member formed of a thermoplastic hard material with a melting point of 90°C or more; and the connector includes a styrene-butadiene copolymer containing 5-45 wt.% butadiene or a composition of the copolymer and polystyrene. The manufacturing method of the medical device and the connector therefor are also provided.
